RS 1 was built in 1893 for the "Norwegian Society for Shipwreck Salvage" at the Colin Archer shipyard in Rekkevig near Larvik, Norway. RS 1 was later named "Colin Archer" after its designer and builder. The Billing Boats model of Colin Archer is suitable for remote control installation. Each model kit is equipped with a numbered and signed certificate. |

This lifeboat was named after the Parisian merchant Emile Robin, a philanthropist, cognac manufacturer and vice-president of the French charity La Societe Centrale de Sauvetage des Naufrages (Society for the Salvation of Shipwrecks). Emile Robin is one of the most important benefactors in the 150 year history of the Danish Lifeboat Service. MRB 20 "Emile Robin" is permanently stationed at the lifeboat station in Hvide Sande, on the western coast of Denmark. |

Smit Rotterdam was built in 1975 for Smit International BV in Holland, and was at the time of its completion the largest and most powerful tugboat in the world - with a tonnage of 2,273 tons, a length of 75 m, a 22,000 HP engine and a top speed of 16.5 knots. The ship is built with bulb stern and stern nozzle; inboard equipment includes the most modern gear for navigation, steering and radio communication. |

The 140M Long command & support ship Absalon can perform a number of national and international task, including transportation of personal and material, command platform for land, air and sea operations. The ship also has a mine laying capacity. It also has the capacity to carryout humanitarian operations as a hospital ship. The ship is fitted with a 900 square meter flexible deck to perform in different operations and has a roll-on-roll-off (RO/RO) capacity aft. The Absalon has during 2008 and 2009 been participating in patrolling, and capturing pirates in the waters around Somalia. |

In the mid-1860's a Swedish distilling company placed a contract with the Stockholm dockyard of Soedra Varvet for the construction of a fast, elegant sailing schooner. In 1868 the 29 m long Vanadis was launched, rigged as a Newfoundland schooner. During her colourful career the vessel's high speed was in demand, and at times she operated as a smuggling boat and as a customs vessel. She now serves as a charter vessel for extended sailing cruises, and has taken part with great success in international regattas.

This boat was built at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco and was given the nickname “Monterey”. The immigrant Italian or Sicilian craftsman in San Francisco Bay, patterned the “Monterey” after the Mediterranean Lateen Sail Felucca, with modifications to accept a gas engine, so this is a true California, USA creation! |

The Andrea Gail, an un-inspected commercial fishing vessel departed Gloucester Harbour, Massachusetts, September 20, 1991 with six crewmembers on board. The crew intended to make a fishing trip for swordfish in the area of the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, Canada. The vessel and six crewmembers remain missing and are presumed lost at sea in a major storm, referred to as the “Perfect Storm” by a meteorologist and made famous by Sebastian Junger’s book (the book was later turned into a Hollywood movie). |

The Smit Nederland was built in 1979 at the BV Scheepswerft & Machinefebriek "De Merwede" in Hardinzveld, Holland. Length 28.40 m, breadth 8,85 m, draught 3.85 m. The vessel is driven by two "Stork Werkspoor" diesel engines, whose 1000 rpm yield 1800 HP. Top speed is 12 knots; the acting radius is 2,250 miles. A special detail of this ship is the propellors, which are equipped with reversible blades in jet streams, and two basin rudders which ensure good manoeuvrability. |

The Calypso was built in the USA in 1942 as a minesweeper. She was bought in 1950 by Jacques-Yves Cousteau, and after extensive changes and modifications has become a fully equipped ocean research vessel, complete with observation chamber in the stern, oval diving bell, Galaezzi diving chamber, inflatable boat for shallow waters, helicopter and much other submarine equipment. Length 42 m, tonnage 360 tons, speed 12 knots. |

The first Dragen was built in 1929 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The sailing characteristics of the vessel were so fine that the boat soon was used throughout the world, and especially in Europe. As time passed, the Dragen was changed gradually, so that today only the hull is original. In 1948 the Dragen became an Olympic yachting class, and all measurements have been standardized by the International Sailsport Union. |

The Zwarte Zee was built in 1963 at J. & K. Smit's Scheepswerven N.V. in Kinderdijk, Holland. Length 77.50 m, breadth 12.35 m, draught 6.90 m and gross tonnage 1,539 tons. Driven by two Smit-M.A.N. turbo diesel engines yielding 9,000 HP. These machines drive a single propeller shaft through Vulcan fluid clutches and reduction gears. When a fast manoeuver is necessary, one of the engines can drive forwards, the other reverse. Speed 18 knots. |
